Join us at one of the darkest places around and see meteors light up the evening sky! Meet at the Hawk Watch parking lot, red-filtered flashlights only, please. Pre-registration recommended. $5 per car  Brandywine Creek State Park, August 13th, 8:30 p.m.

 

$2 Admission Night

Join us for specially-scheduled evenings throughout the year when the DCM is open from 5-7pm and admission is just $2 per person! The Museum’s DEcafe is also open during these evenings to help take dinner planning and preparation off your mind. Delaware Children’s Museum, August 17th, 5 p.m.

 

Delaware in the Civil War

Dr. Gary Wray examines Delaware’s involvement in the war through the eyes of MGA Alfred A. Torbert of Georgetown. Pre-registration required: Call 698-6440. This program is sponsored in part by the Delaware Humanities Forum.  Kent County Public Library, August 13th, 2 p.m.

 

BeatleMania LIVE!

BeatleMania LIVE uses the original model guitars and drums as used by the Beatles in combination with theatrical make-up, original costumes, and stage choreography to authentically recreate the image of a live Beatles concert.  The Freeman Stage at Bayside, August 13th, 7 p.m.
