    It’s Not Mean To Be Green

    The Musical teaches children that “going green” does not mean transform you into into a green-faced witch or a scaly lizard. Instead it means caring for the environment. The whimsical musical, which debuts in time for Earth Day, features a local cast. DuPont Theatre. April 18th at 3 p.m. April 19th-20th at 9:30 a.m. and noon.

    CoroAllegro: Earth, Sea and Sky

    “Earth, Sea and Sky” will feature Dvorak’s choral song cycle “In Nature’s Realm,” as well as Hindemith’s “Six Chansons,” works that CoroAllegro has performed a number of years ago and that are well worth another hearing. Immanuel Church, Highlands, April 17th, 8 p.m.

    National Poetry Month Celebration

    For all of the poetry lovers out there—come celebrate National Poetry Month at the Delaware Art Museum! This afternoon program will showcase poetry readings by JoAnn Balingit, Delaware’s Poet Laureate, 2009 and 2010 Artist Fellows, and young poets from Poetry Out Loud. An open-mic session concludes the program. Delaware Art Museum, April 17th, 1 p.m.
