Annual ‘No pants subway ride’ is this Sunday

If you’re riding the subway Sunday afternoon, either wear nice underwear or avert your eyes.

It’s the annual “No pants subway ride,” which is exactly what it sounds like. A spin-off of a New York City event, the event requires that all participants follow these very specific instructions for riding the subway between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. Sunday. The main rule is to show up prepared to take your pants off.
The ride will take participants from City Hall to the Broad Street Line’s Ellsworth/Federal stop, then back to City Hall where, sans pants, riders will hop onto the Market-Frankford Line and coast to 69th Street.

Public nudity is a no-no, so make sure to wear some undies.
