Deadline for Fall Festival activity submissions is Saturday

Do you collect ancient artifacts, weird stuff or fascinating junk? Does your club joust, dance or sing? Is your avocation or vocation photography, sculpture, or architecture? Want to introduce your neighbors to Greek cooking or the art of flower arranging?

Every October, the East Falls Fall Festival highlights the individuals and groups that make East Falls special. Activities range from a children’s Halloween Party to a formal dinner at Laurel Hill Cemetery.

East Falls organizations, groups, and individuals are invited to partner with the East Falls Community Council (EFCC) again this year to develop October events that explore and promote interesting community activities. Events can be as short as an hour or as long as a day.

Activities include lectures, demonstrations, tours, and hands-on participation. Although EFCC coordinates the annual festival and provides advertising, the participating individuals and groups host the events themselves.

The deadline to register is Aug. 25. The EFCC covers all advertising costs. Contact Roger Marsh to talk about your idea, to find out how to register (it’s simple) or to submit your activity. Call him at 215-848-1376, afternoon or evening, any day of the week, or send an email to marshRRR@gmail.com.
