Aflac seeks a new voice for ubiquitous spokesfowl

You my be hard pressed to identify exactly what it’s advertising, but the insistent spokesfowl certainly has made an impression. That ubiquitous Aflac duck is in need of a new voice after Gilbert Gottfried was fired last week over insensitive comments on Japan’s devastation.

The good news is that Aflac Inc. will take a listen to anyone who wants to take a quack at the job before offering the job to a celebrity voice, reports Philly.com.

Anyone interested in what an official at the the insurance company calls “the best job in the world” can submit a 30-second audio or video file displaying their best “Aflac” squawk Wednesday.

We hear working conditions are just ducky.
