Abington officers down to the wire in CopStache fundraiser

The CopStache race is getting close. While three Abington officers are neck-and-neck-and-neck in fundraising efforts, Chief Bill Kelly is $10,000 away from having to shave his 38-year-old mustache.

Meanwhile, almost $100,000 has been raised for the Police Athletic League and Abington Township Police Association.

Officers are raising money growing mustaches, leading up to tomorrow night’s public event where, if the cops can pull in the last $10,000, Kelly will shave his ‘stache.

WMGK DJ John DeBella is a judge at tomorrow’s event, and he’s bringing his mustace along.
