A Scrooge in N.J.

    New Jerseyans aren’t confusing Chris Christie with Kris Kringle:

    A new poll from Quinnipiac University finds New Jersey voters think Gov. Chris Christie is more like Scrooge than Santa by a 54 to 28 margin.

    But not everyone seems to mind that the governor is a bit Scrooge-like:

    In another Quinnipiac poll released Tuesday, voters were almost evenly divided on whether they approve of Christie’s performance.

    The poll surveyed 1,276 New Jersey voters between Dec. 14 and Dec. 19. The margin of sampling error is plus or minus 2.7 percentage points.
