A day in the life of a Philadelphia wedding photographer

The audio slideshow presented here documents a day in the life of a Philadelphia wedding photographer.

On Saturday, June 9, 2012 Laurie Beck Peterson, a Mt. Airy-based photographer, shot the wedding of Angela Ithier and Adolph Unoarumhi. Heather Fowler, a photographer from Germantown, worked as Peterson’s second photographer for the day.

It was a long day for the photographers that included schlepping a lot of gear to several locations in order to document the couple’s special day. The couple got married at Saints Agatha and James Parish in West Philadelphia and held their reception at the Ballroom at the Ben in Center City. Several of Adolph’s family members traveled all the way from Nigeria to celebrate the couple’s nuptials.
