2 rescued from Frankford house fire

    Two people were rescued from a house fire in the Frankford section of Philadelphia this morning that could be the result of arson.

    WPVI-TV reports the fire sparked around 5:10 a.m. in a home on the 4600 block of Penn Street. According to WPVI-TV, investigators believe arson is to blame for the fire.

    When firefighters arrived, they found heavy smoke coming from the three-story home.

    WPVI-TV says firefighters managed to get the fire under control within minutes.

    The two victims were taken to Aria Hospital-Torresdale Division.
