March 12, 2012

5600 block Chew Ave. – 2002 Ford Windstar stolen.

5600 block Matthews St. – 35-inch TV with built-in DVD player, converter box and a cell phone were stolen from the property.

2300 block 78th Ave. – CDs, $5, bath salts, switch blade, leather tote bag, purse and a pair of sneakers were stolen from a 2006 Hyundai Sonata.

200 block E. Gorgas Lane – Two digital cameras, GPS, iPod and $250 were stolen from a 2004 Chevy.

2300 block W. Cheltenham Ave. – HP laptop and a pair of Gucci sunglasses were stolen from the property.

E. Haines St. / Morton St. – Complainant said a known offender tried to stab him inside of a car. Complainant said incident occurred after police stopped the car. Offender thought the complainant had called the police.

Unit block W. Haines St. – $685 stolen from the property.

March 13, 2012

6200 block Germantown Ave. – 32-inch LCD TV stolen from the property.

400 block E. Penn St. – Complainant said five men in hooded sweatshirts robbed him after striking him with a bat in the back. Offenders ran off with $80. Complainant was taken to the hospital.

March 14, 2012

1800 block Nolan St. – Complainant was shot in the left shoulder during an armed robbery attempt at the location. Complainant said a man approached the car from behind. Complainant was shot after fleeing the car. Complainant was taken to the hospital and is listed in stable condition.

6700 block Germantown Ave. – $550 stolen from a car.

Germantown Ave. / W. Walnut Lane – 2004 Ford Crown Victoria was stolen.

Wayne Ave. / W. Chelten Ave. – Purse, $250, credit cards and a driver’s license stolen from the property.

5500 block Germantown Ave. – 33 cartons of cigarettes (25 Newport, 4 Maverick, and 4 Salem) were stolen from a dollar store along with scratch-off lottery tickets.

7300 block Rural Lane – iPhone 3GS stolen from a public school at the location.

8400 block Germantown Ave. – A man attempted to rob a bank at the location, but fled the scene without any money. Complainant, a teller, said the offender handed her a demand note before exiting the branch.

8300 block Anderson St. – Laptop, modem and a back pack were stolen from the property.

March 15, 2012

Unit block E. Chelten Ave. – Complainant said a man pepper sprayed him in the face and stole $1,000 from him as he was putting money into a parking meter at the location. Complainant was taken to the hospital. Offender fled in a Chevy Suburban.

Unit block W. Coulter St. – iPhone stolen at the location.

Germantown Ave. / W. Sedgwick St. – Complainant said a man robbed her at the location. Offender ran off with complainant’s iPhone.

March 16, 2012

500 block N. Pleasant Place – Dell laptop, HP laptop, UGG boots, Nike sneakers and a gold necklace were stolen from the property.

6100 block Morton St. – Complainant said she was stabbed in the right hand with a sharp, metallic object during a fight. Offender was arrested.

4600 block Stenton Ave. – Xbox 360 Kinect, 54-inch LCD TV, PS3 game system and a surround-sound system were stolen from the property.

5500 block Crowson St. – Complainant was pushed down a set of stairs by a known offender. Complainant was taken to the hospital. Offender was arrested.

5400 block Germantown Ave. – Complainant said a man grabbed a plastic bag containing $1,600 outside of a bank at the location. A second offender then picked up the first offender and the two drove off.

March 17, 2012

7300 block Briar Road – Playstation 2, two controllers and a game were stolen from the property.

1900 block Penfield St. – Complainant said his mother slashed at him with a kitchen knife during a dispute. There were no reported injuries.

800 block E. Price St. – Complainant said that her husband stole her debit card and withdrew $400.

6700 block Chew Ave. – Complainant said a man robbed him at gunpoint. Offender ran off with a cell phone and wallet containing $100.

100 block Pelham Road – Two GPS systems and a hands-free unit for a cell phone were stolen from a 2002 Volvo.

6300 block Burbridge St. – Complainant said that a known offender robbed him at gunpoint. Offender fled with complainant’s cell phone.

7400 block Boyer St. – iPod, GPS, XM stereo, cell phone and an unknown amount of change stolen from a car. Two offenders were arrested.

March 18, 2012

800 block E. Woodlawn St. – 32-inch Sanyo TV, Compaq HP, Sony camera, assorted DVDs and drinking glasses were stolen from the property.

500 block Locust Ave. – Complainant was stabbed during a dispute with a known offender. Offender was taken in custody.

Unit block E. Ashmead St. – Toilet stolen from the property.

5400 block Lena St. – 2008 Chevy Impala stolen.

200 block W. Gravers Lane – Earrings stolen from the property.

100 block E. Hartwell Lane – Bike, Mac laptop, gift card, jewelry and $100 stolen from the property.

200 block E. Willow Grove Ave. – Complainant said that his girlfriend threw a plate at him during a dispute.
