Mayor Nutter unconcerned over firefighters endorsement of Street

Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter said he is not worried about a decision by the Firefighters union to endorse his opponent Milton Street over him in the race for the Democratic nomination.

Mayor Nutter says the only endorsement he wants is the votes from members of the union on Election Day and that is what is important to him.

The union decided to endorse Street, saying Nutter has been fighting their current contract, which the mayor says is necessary, because the award cost too much.
