Kenney calls for investigation into Philly Fighting COVID, still backs Health Commissioner Farley

Philadelphia’s inspector general said the Health Department ignored numerous red flags that could have avoided the scandal, yet stopped short of recommending sanctions.

Kenney administration officials have been declining to answer questions, citing the ongoing inspector general investigation. It’s not a valid excuse, the IG’s office said.
