Philly police monitoring social media in effort to prevent retaliatory shootings

Authorities say Elliott fired a dozen shots through a bedroom wall, striking O'Connor as he climbed an interior staircase.

Twenty-one shots were fired at the scene. Police say the victim was shot about 10 times.

Up to $60,000 in rewards from the FBI and the Crime Stoppers program had been offered to anyone calling in a tip leading to a break in the case.
