Philly is canceling thousands of improperly made vaccine appointments at Convention Center

Philadelphia’s second largest mass clinic, in the middle of the city’s most undervaccinated ZIP code, had to reschedule hundreds of Tuesday appointments.

Walk-up appointments will be available to Philly residents eligible in Phases 1A and 1B who can show ID or proof of address from 22 ZIP codes.

With the opening of a FEMA-backed vaccination site at the Convention Center, Philadelphia officials hope to focus resources on standing community clinics.
