N.J. Medicaid re-enrollment is down. Thousands could lose coverage

The decline in New Jersey drug overdose deaths follows a nationwide trend, as most states are seeing a drop in deaths involving substances like fentanyl.

Separately, more states and cities also are requiring paid sick days, which give people time off to deal with short-term illnesses like the flu.

As emergency rooms see more patients with respiratory complications, hospitals are being asked to test for possible bird flu in humans.
