N.J. Gov. Murphy signs off on $15 million to aid the arts

Thirty-nine grants from Philadelphia’s Cultural Treasures program will fund work for local BIPOC artists and provide aid to local organizations.

The groups are calling for additional money to help them in a time of need after seeing their funding cut during the pandemic.

While short-term emergency relief funds have gone a long way for smaller arts groups in Philly, that money is starting to dry up.
