Comcast offers $10K grants to small businesses owned by people of color

Immigrants make up a third of all business owners in Philadelphia, according to a 2024 report from the Pew Charitable Trusts.

“Target would have been a great boost to our business’s growth ... We’ll just find it elsewhere,” said a Philly makeup company's co-founder about the retailer's DEI rollback.

Comcast announced the July 2022 recipients of their RISE fund pandemic relief grants. 100 Philly-area businesses were awarded $10,000.
