‘Change is hard’: Why the future of a car-free MLK Drive remains in flux

More than 60 community groups across Philly and surrounding suburbs will plant trees April 11 to 14.

The ADA-accessible path will connect Newport, Wilmington, and New Castle.

The $20 million project is expected to last until spring 2025. The bridge will remain closed until the project is completed.
