Why the head of the Black Doctors COVID-19 Consortium decided to get vaccinated

The CDC urges both an updated COVID-19 shot and yearly flu vaccine for everyone ages 6 months and older.

The walk-in clinic will be open from noon Feb. 19 to noon Feb. 20, but only for those eligible in Phase 1B and from certain Philadelphia ZIP codes.

People can sign up through a contact form. The consortium will begin administering the vaccines when Philadelphia enters Phase 1B of its distribution plan.
