North Philly’s New Barber’s Hall hosts ‘Matinee Jams,’ celebrating the city’s jazz legacy

The arts organization teamed up with Creative Philadelphia to award funding to local jazz artists and education programs throughout the month.

The all-ages festival, co-produced by former Philadelphia Eagle Connor Barwin and promoter Bowery Presents, will take place Friday, July 25 and Sunday, July 27.

This year’s festival packed venues for six days in the metro area while raising funds for music education.
