Philly artist wins $100K craft prize for her work remembering Black ancestors

Moore, who died last year, championed Black artists and left an indelible mark on the art world. His collection numbered in the "hundreds, maybe thousands."

The survey by Councilmember Rue Landau was launched in the wake of the closing of the University of the Arts.
