A Winter Storm Warning has been expanded to include the heart of the Delaware Valley

Winter weather alerts are posted! Snow moves in late tonight and continues through early tomorrow.

Tonight: Clouds thicken, snow develops. Low 31.

Snow develops between 11 p.m. and 1 a.m., which will make for slippery conditions on the roads by Saturday morning.

Saturday: Periods of snow during the morning. Watch for slippery roads and sidewalks early, but with the sun angle this late in the season, road conditions will quickly improve.

The snow ends shortly after sunrise with nothing more than a few lingering flurries. Clouds break for some sun.

A Winter Storm Warning has been expanded to include the heart of the Delaware Valley. This shift has prompted projected totals to increase for some.

The Delaware Valley and areas west can expect 4-6″. A general 2-4″ for the Poconos, the Jersey Shore, and Central Delaware.

Near Cape May and southern Delaware will see less, perhaps a coating to 2″.

Behind the storm, clouds will break for some sunshine, but it’s breezy and cold, high 39.

Monday (Presidents Day): Sunny skies and nice for the holiday, high 44.

Tuesday: Clouds mix with sunshine, high 47.

Wednesday: Remaining mild under partly sunny skies, high 52.

Thursday: Sun to clouds. Chance for rain late. 53.

Friday: Rather cloudy and breezy. High 47.
