Neighboring residents gathered in support for the historically Black borough of Lawnside, New Jersey, where a resident became a victim of racist graffiti.

Lawnside residents shared their concerns and discussed how they can respond to protect members of the historic Black borough from racist attacks.

Dawn Hines was notified at work that someone spray painted a graphic, racist message on her backyard fence. Her neighbors are rallying around her and condemning the incident.
