Pennsylvania Gun Rights sent a letter to Delco officials in March calling the ordinance a violation of the Constitution and threatening legal action if adopted.

If the ordinance passes, Delaware County would join a growing number of communities in Pennsylvania who have made ghost guns illegal.

The office was disbanded by President Donald Trump on Jan. 21. Pennsylvania officials and advocacy groups say their work to fight violent crime will continue.
