At Sayre High, pandemic puts the brakes on college aspirations

Masking will be optional for students and staff except when determined necessary to fight an outbreak.

The district is one of just a few in the U.S. to require masks periodically this school year. Nearby Camden City School District also started the year with a mask mandate.

The mask mandates follow rising COVID, flu, and RSV cases across the Delaware Valley.
