Two more SEPTA workers diagnosed with COVID-19, transit union bulk orders hand sanitizer

Less than 24 hours after the city's mask mandate went into effect, the city’s regional transit provider SEPTA announced that masks would no longer be required on its vehicles.

Along with mask-wearing, health officials say good airflow is key to avoiding infection in enclosed spaces.

The coronavirus pandemic has taken the lives of three Philadelphia transit workers. As of April 6, 48 SEPTA employees have tested positive for the virus.
