‘Interior Chinatown’ is the Free Library of Philadelphia’s all-city read

Tariq Trotter’s 2023 memoir about growing up in Philadelphia will be the focus of the Free Library’s all-city reading program.

For two decades, Sheryl Oring has taken dictation from the public by typing postcards to five White House administrations.

The Free Library has aimed for universal six days a week service at all of its 55 branches in the Philadelphia region for years. It may be coming this fall.
