Camden County schools to install 250 emergency naloxone kits to prevent overdose deaths

The decline in New Jersey drug overdose deaths follows a nationwide trend, as most states are seeing a drop in deaths involving substances like fentanyl.

N.J. Medicaid funding for the state’s lowest-rated nursing home is cut off. The N.J. state comptroller says the facility improperly collected millions and offered subpar care.

The county recorded 109 suspected overdose deaths so far this year, compared to 179 deaths during the same time in 2023, new state data show.
