Black folk artist Elijah Pierce is Barnes Foundation’s first new show during pandemic

The Barnes Foundation draws a ton of visitors every year. It was first housed in his Merion, Pennsylvania home and later moved – after years of legal battles – to the Parkway.

The Barnes Foundation has a touring overview of Brown’s long career in the spotlight.

The archive will begin to be available to the public and scholars in 2026.
