South Philly families march for police-free public schools in kid-friendly Passyunk protest

Protesters marched through Center City demanding a permanent ceasefire in Gaza and marking the anniversary of the 1948 Nakba.

The event was organized by Jewish Voice for Peace, the Philly Palestine Coalition and the Pennsylvania Council on American-Islamic Relations.

The mothers of Trayvon Martin and Leslie Prater spoke about grief, police brutality, and how to make change during a forum at the University of Delaware.
