SEPTA teams up with businesses to offer six months of free rides for workers

SEPTA said it initially will run eight buses with the compartments to see what, if any, adjustments are needed and to get driver feedback.

The six-car train was traveling from Philadelphia to Wilmington when it caught fire around 6 p.m. Thursday near the Crum Lynne Station in Ridley Park.

The agreement between SEPTA and the union representing city transit workers includes a 5% wage increase, as well as a pension increase.
