Montco commissioners approve new emergency shelter option in Pottstown

If the 45-bed homeless shelter gets the approval of the planning commission, Pottstown Borough Council would have the last say.

The city's Office of Homeless Services’ annual count will commence Jan. 22. Interested participants can sign up online by Jan. 6.

The facility, set to open in the first half of 2025, will provide beds, meals and wrap-around services for up to 20 people at a time.
