Philly’s entire fleet of battery-powered buses has been MIA since February

SEPTA was bullish on battery-powered electric buses. But $2.6 million and 25 broken buses later, the agency is rethinking its approach.

The continued push to expand its low-emissions fleet helped SEPTA save about $300,000 in fuel costs.
