N.J. has used its new ‘red flag’ law more than once a day since it took effect

Republican Congressman Andrew Clyde, of Georgia, unveiled the Medicaid Funds Integrity Act to restrict Medicaid funds for gun violence prevention programs.

The working-class town of about 30,000 just outside of Pittsburgh was rattled after learning the gunman came from their community.

"Permit-to-purchase laws work,” said Rep. Melissa Minor-Brown. “States with permit laws have 25% lower gun homicide rates, 50% lower gun suicide rates.”
