As Delaware ends state of emergency, health officials warn COVID is not gone

It’s not clear what the governor has, but lots of Delawareans are sick too with COVID and flu cases rising.

The governor says he’s “feeling well” but will follow CDC guidelines and work remotely. Cases and hospitalizations have risen sharply since late March.

Just hours after Gov. John Carney said the state’s fight against the coronavirus isn’t over, he announced Health Secretary Dr. Kara Odom Walker will step down.
