Airbnb offering one-night stays in Jersey Shore’s mighty mammal, Lucy the Elephant

The Jersey Shore landmark underwent a 15-month-long exterior restoration to replace the metal skin that had degraded beyond repair.

While the nation’s oldest roadside attraction in Margate will be open for tours starting Memorial Day weekend, Lucy will not be seen in her new skin until mid-August.

The event in Margate has grown into a full-day party, punctuated by a mad dash into the water at noon.
