Flyers’ goaltender Carter Hart among NHL players charged with sexual assault in a 2018 case in Canada, their lawyers say

With two vacancies, the 3rd Circuit, a highly influential and powerful court, is evenly split between Democrat- and Republican-appointed judges.

Attorneys representing the players have said their clients would plead not guilty and defend themselves against the allegations.

Charges were filed in London, Ontario, against five players, including four who are currently on NHL teams.
