JPMorgan Chase funds to help expand development in Wilmington neighborhoods

Last week, Wilmington released an inventory of lead pipes across the city. But the city has yet to determine the content of about 25% of its service lines.

The existing port has been operational for a century, but it can’t handle the 1,000-foot ships like the one that destroyed Baltimore’s Key Bridge.

The funding will help the city upgrade 120-year-old pipes in an effort to prevent flooding.
