Trial for ex-Philly cop who fatally shot David Jones delayed by legal challenge

An illegal street race preceded the shooting, and Philadelphia police say they’re cracking down ahead of summertime.

The Pa. Supreme Court will hear oral arguments on the question, which arose during the criminal prosecution of ex-PPD officer Ryan Pownall for fatally shooting David Jones.
