Memorial service honors Delaware’s nearly 3,000 COVID-19 victims

The state’s emergency order was first put in place March 23, 2020, as cases of COVID-19 started to spread throughout the state.

State health officials say multiple people, including Gov. John Carney, have tested positive for COVID-19 after a series of events in and around Legislative Hall.

Students will be required to wear masks on campus for the first two weeks of the fall semester to stem an expected spike in COVID cases.
