Critical care patients evacuated at Crozer-Chester Medical Center due to electrical fire

Underground cables overheated and caught fire, causing a manhole cover to explode, cutting power for two blocks.

Neighbors say they first noticed the flag along Meng Road about two weeks ago and contacted Lower Frederick Township to see if anything could be done.

The call came in around 5 p.m. Friday for flames showing on the 1400 block of South Front Street.
