A Philly nonprofit is giving away $4 million in scholarships to tuition-based schools

The lab, opening next week, will offer classes to local students in robotics, cyber security, video game design — and of course, golf course management.

The School District of Philadelphia will spend 40% of its reserves in order to avoid budget cuts for one more year. After that, there are no guarantees.

The termination follows threats last week from the Trump administration. The White House has not told Penn how it can get the money back.
