Charles L. Blockson Collection at Temple turns 40

Temple student Aidan Steigelmann is charged with impersonating a public servant and has been placed on interim suspension by the university.

“It's Philadelphia history,” Africa Jr. said while discussing his new book at Temple University. “It's Black history. It’s revolutionary history. It's American history.”

Blockson was the architect behind some of the most prestigious collections of African American artifacts in the U.S.
