The Latest on Long COVID, A Pennridge Dad’s Book Ban Challenge

Millions of people are suffering from post-infectious disease Long COVID-19.

One in five adults who tested positive for coronavirus since the beginning of the pandemic will experience long COVID. Symptoms are wide-ranging, and often invisible, including brain fog, depression, joint pain, and difficulty breathing that lingers. While many questions are still unanswered, there is some new research shedding light on the illness and potential treatment for millions currently suffering. We’ll talk with Benjamin Abramoff, Director of the Post-COVID Assessment and Recovery Clinic at Penn Medicine.


Pennridge parent Darren Laustsen took the school district to court after suspecting administrators were secretly removing books from library shelves. A judge has finally ruled in his favor, calling the school district’s actions a cover-up. At a time when novels across the U.S. are being challenged, we’ll talk about what inspired this parent to investigate the missing books, and what’s next.
