Row home explosion sparks fire that spreads to 9 other homes

Montgomery County Commissioner Neil Makhija wrote to Berkshire Hathaway Chairman and CEO Warren Buffet asking for expanded severance packages for SPS employees.

Initial reports are that one unit was involved, causing smoke to fill the building and forcing everyone to evacuate.

The call came in around 5 p.m. Friday for flames showing on the 1400 block of South Front Street.
