Pa. House passes charter school package, but funding conundrum remains

A Pennsylvania regulatory board is supporting Gov. Tom Wolf’s proposal to subject charter schools to stronger ethics and accounting measures.

The study says the overall quality of Pa. charter schools is brought down by poor performing cybers. But some brick and mortar charters in cities are a bright spot.

 A state House committee has moved a group of bills that would significantly change how Pennsylvania oversees its charter schools.
