Another New Jersey offshore wind project runs into turbulence

The project would be built 40 miles (65 kilometers) off Long Beach Island and would consist of up to 100 turbines, enough to power 1 million homes.

The newly approved offshore wind farms will be located about 40 miles off the N.J. coast and generate enough electricity to power 1.8 million homes.

The Danish company Orsted said high-interest rates and supply chain issues will cause delays at three major offshore wind projects.
