A month before Election Day, Delaware Supreme Court hears a dispute over no-excuse mail voting

The legal fight centered around whether Delaware lawmakers could ignore a governor’s request to withdraw nominations not yet Senate confirmed.

On Tuesday, a federal judge threw out a lawsuit by six Republican members of Congress over how to count votes from military members and others who cast ballots from overseas.

Lawsuits have been filed in Pennsylvania, Michigan and North Carolina that challenge the validity of ballots cast by U.S. citizens living abroad, including military members.
