Police announce arrest warrant in killing of Philadelphia journalist Josh Kruger

Chester Township police were notified on January 14, 2025, of a suspected child abuse case at Chester Community Charter School.

Officers confronted the man on the 1600 block of Moore Street after he was seen walking with a rifle. The man is hospitalized in critical condition; no officers were injured.

Police say they responded to a man who was stabbed and walking in the roadway early Monday morning. A physical altercation ensued, then an officer discharged his weapon.
