Fecal bacteria leads to swimming advisories at 3 N.J. beaches

Families participating in the study will either receive a treatment system — or a placebo device — to help scientists assess the correlation between water quality and health.

The “Shots At The Shore” campaign will offer free vaccinations Saturday and Sunday at Sandy Hook, Long Branch and Asbury Park.
